I signed up for the S-Corp Master class and it is way outside my comfort zone. My mindset was to get thru it, now I realize that I need to wait until after tax season to truly absorb it all.
The field of instructional design has produced a lot of research supporting the “flipped classroom” approach: passive learning (listening to lectures, comprehension quizzes) is done ahead of class meetings. This leaves class meetings for active learning, i.e., discussion, practical applications, and writing. It would help if we provided more CE with this flipped approach instead of passively listening to lectures.
